Well our little man has been learning lots of new things. He talks to us all the time and is always smiling too.
I have added a video of him laughing in his sleep which I captured on my mobile phone. He was only 2 and a half weeks old. It's very cute!!

Xavier up to 1 month old

Here are a few photos of Xavier in his 1st month. So far he has been a good sleeper and is feeding really well. The days are going by so fast and Kirstie feels as though she's not getting anything done. We are both learning it is very tiring looking after a little one but sooooo worth it. Our lives have completely changed but for the better. Dont know where we'd be without our little bundle.

Sorry have been very slack!

So sorry we haven't updated the blog since september. As you could imagine we have had lots to do. Kirstie has since finished working the dog washing business and has someone working it for her. Pete has been so busy he doesn't what to do with himself. He has also put a new staff member on which has helped him out heaps!! Kirstie is also working with Pete doing all the paperwork.
Baby Xavier has done a lot of growing in the past 3 months and we are now at 35 weeks. Only 5 weeks to go, yay!! We can't wait to meet him.
Here are some photos of Kirstie's growing belly. Starting at 25 weeks, 27 weeks, 30 weeks and the last two are 35 weeks.
Seems that Xavier is going to be a big boy :)

Baby Xavier is getting bigger
Our little boy, Xavier, is getting very big and he is a very active little boy too. He moves around all day everyday which is lovely but not so much when he kicks mum's bladder.
The first photo is Kirstie at 21 weeks and the second is at 23 weeks.
We have started to do the nursery. Pete has started painting. We have chosen a very pale blue to freshen the room. Once the painting is finished we will be getting new carpets put in.
There are lots of things to do around the house before Xavier is born and we are running out of time, fast. Only 3 more months left.

Anatomy Scan

We went to the Women's Imaging Centre in Subiaco on the 25th August to get the 2nd scan which told us the sex of our little jelly bean.
The doctor doing the ultrasound was very thorough going through everything we could possibly want to know about. She showed us the blood pumping into the brain and kidneys. Also the 4 chambers of the heart making sure there were no holes in there. We heard the heart beat for the first time and that was incredible, little tiny heart pumping away. Very hard to keep tears from rolling down our cheeks. She measured the head and the stomach then the legs and feet. It's tiny little feet are already 3.16cm long. It weighs 10 ozs at the moment and everything is going perfectly.
After all the measuring is done she then proceeds to check the sex of the baby, and it is quite clear on the ultrasound that is it a little boy! We are so excited as it is the first grandson on both sides of the family. It's so nice to finally know and to now be able to talk to him using his name.
We had 2D and 3D photos taken of Xavier and we also received a DVD of the whole session which is such a great thing to be able to hang on to and show him when he's a bit older.
I have posted the 3D photo of him and Peter thinks he looks like me at the moment, but there's still loads of time for his features to change. He is very cute anyway and we cant wait to meet him.
